It’s not how he wanted to live his life but with his mother’s illness getting too much for him at home, he decided to run away and ended up in the Underground.

At the age of fifteen his adoptive father died and within a couple of months his adoptive mother committed suicide without making a will. Charlie was not included in the original will and the children of the family, who were always jealous of him, rejected him. Having been well educated and used to the finer life and the trappings that wealth brought he made it his life’s goal to continue to live in the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed. His first ‘con’ was undertaken at university (which had already been paid for by his late adopted parents) when he was able to convince an American pharmaceutical company to invest $500,000 into his research for a new product. He left school with the money in his pocket forgetting the company and travelled the world on false passports and false identities, increasing his bank balance with numerous small ‘investment opportunities’ before returning back to the underground to buy the family estate from his erstwhile siblings who had squandered their inheritance. He now uses his home in the underground as a getaway from his operations and is just preparing to make a very important deal with Roberto Lies and is currently trying to trace his real parents but never misses the chance to take money from those he thinks do not deserve to have it.
